Visit the ancient city of Perge with its beautiful ruins of waterways, agora and baths. The city was believed to be founded after the Trojan War by Greek settlers. Return to Antalya and enjoy a wonderful lunch in the house overlooking the ancient harbor. The Archeological Museum in Antalya houses many exquisite artifacts found in Perge and the surrounding area, such as; sarcophagi, statues, mosaics, as well as Stone Age relics from the nearby Karain Caves and an impressive ethnographical collection.
A visit to the Archaeology Museum will complete your journey through ancient Pamphylia. Return to the hotel or ship on completion of the day.
